A PROCISSÃO (THE PROCESSION)
A Solene Procissão conduzindo o Santíssimo Sacramento começou logo em seguida à Santa Missa realizada no Santuário Matriz de Nossa Senhora da Conceição.
The Solemn Procession carrying the Blessed Sacrament began immediately after the Holy Mass at the Main Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Conceição.
A procissão seguiu em direção à Basílica de Nossa Senhora do Pilar por cima dos tradicionais tapetes de serragem e fez três paradas para os fiéis receberem as Bênçãos do Santíssimo Sacramento.
The procession headed towards the Basilica of Nossa Senhora do Pilar over the traditional sawdust carpets and made three stops for the faithful to receive the Blessings of the Blessed Sacrament.
A procissão seguia o seu caminho de 2,5 km ao som de rezas... do badalo dos sinos das igrejas... e da banda marcial que animava os devotos e espectadores.
The procession followed its 2.5 km path to the sound of prayers... the clapping of church bells... and the marching band that animated the devotees and spectators.
A chegada à Basílica de Nossa Senhora do Pilar foi o ponto alto e também o encerramento da celebração. Valeu muito a pena registrar esta grandiosa manifestação de fé.
The arrival at the Basilica of Nossa Senhora do Pilar was the high point and also the closing of the celebration. It was very worthwhile to register this great manifestation of faith.
